This standard shall apply to Isuzu's product drawings (inclusive of Isuzu-approved drawings). This standard may apply to drawings of as-cast / as-forged / in-blank parts, etc.

Notes: This in-house standard corresponds to JIS Z 8310: 2010 ‘Technical drawings-General code of drafting practices (MOD)'. ‘MOD' means that the contents of this JIS are consistent with those of the corresponding ISO/IEC standard at a level of MOD (Modified). See ISO/IEC Guide 21-1 for the definition of MOD.

PURPOSE

This standard establishes the rules common to the Isuzu drawing standards and basic rules of product drawing so as to achieve proper use of the drawing standards for the creation of high-quality drawings.
